On 22 October, we’re joining Trefdag Vlaanderen Digitaal 2026, one of the key meeting points for digital transformation in the Flemish public sector.

This year’s theme, “Soeverein in een verbonden wereld”, puts strategic autonomy at the centre of the conversation. AI, digital platforms and geopolitical shifts are changing how governments deliver services, shape policy and collaborate. The event brings together public-sector organisations, technology partners and digital experts to exchange ideas and explore how we can build a resilient digital government together.

AI-Assisted Legacy Modernization: the CM case

Legacy systems remain a reality for many organisations. But modernisation doesn’t always have to mean starting over.

During our session, Koen Goovaerts will share the CM case on AI-Assisted Legacy Modernization and show how AI can support organisations in modernising legacy environments in a pragmatic way.

In this 25-minute session, Koen will take you through the context and challenge at CM, the approach AE implemented, how AI supported the modernisation process and the main results and learnings from the case.
