Welcome to the second AE Utilities Newsletter!

2019 is a year full of festivities for AE! On Friday 14th of June, we celebrated our 20th anniversary and the 60th birthday of our CEO amongst colleagues, friends, clients and prospects. Scrum Rock really demonstrated how AE rocks at organizing great parties.

AE stands for long-lasting and qualitative client relationships. In an interview with Fluxys, a client and partner from day one, you will discover everything about our journey to build up this long-standing partnership.

As we speak, Fluvius is starting their full-fledged roll-out of smart meters in Flanders. Also in Brussels, last year Sibelga started to install smart meters. AE is assisting in planning & realizing their phased roll-out. 

Digital meters bring both a data and mind shift in the utilities landscape. Jouri Goos, Utilities Director at AE, elaborates on the hurdles this sector is already facing and explains why the energy transition in Belgium is proving to be that difficult.

What better excuse for a party than celebrating twenty years of AE? Our thoughts exactly. In honor of our porcelain anniversary, we organized a special edition of the festival we host at the AE headquarters every two years.
